Hi

I am new to Google Shopping and want to get my products into Google Shopping. I am using opencart 2.0.3.1 and and submitted the google feed within opencart 2 and it says 61/61 successful but then I look at the diagnostics and says the following

Account issues

Account suspended due to policy violation: checkout unsecure (I have just put a SSL certificate into the site so hopefully this will sort this issue out)

No AdWords account linked - I don't have a AdWords account - shall I create one even though I am not using it just yet

Current item issues for Shopping ads

Automatic item disapprovals due to policy violation - Not sure how to fix this

Incorrect image encoding - Not sure how to fix this

Missing microdata for condition - Not sure how to fix this

Can anyone help me please as don't know about Google Shopping

Thank you in advance

Google Shopping is a paid advertising marketplace you will need Google Adwords to setup campaigns. Once you have an Adwords campaign link up the account to Google Merchant.

Check that the images are valid : https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6324350?hl=en&ref_topic=6324338

Add microdata : https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6069143?hl=en

When all issues are resolved, please request for re approval here : https://support.google.com/merchants/contact/suspended?rd=1#contact=1&ts=6081780

Do not ask for re approval if you still have issues as this can cause further delays and possible other issues. First take the time to fix everything.

Hope it helps.

1) check if you can view the image in your browser by navigating directly to the image, check multiple browsers

Check if the image can be opened with a normal simple image editor

If this fails, create a new image and upload a new one to the website and link it to the data feed

2) Contact your web developer

Ask for support from Opencart or a Opencart forum

Read Google's Official documentation https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6069143?hl=en

Hope it helps

Regarding the image, it's a png format but I can view it in Firefox and Chrome and also in a image editor, shall I make it jpg and see if that helps but there are other png images on the site that are ok and don't have the error like this 1 product image does

2) I'll look on opencart extensions to find a microdata extension, I did find one and put it in but it messed up the Google feed and stopped it from working all together

You could try and save it as a different format, that usually removes and strange behaviors. For example some images saved on a Apple computer can not always be edited on a Windows. So save it again and submit it to Google Merchant. I recommend trying this to 10 images. And see if they get approved. I understand you have allot of images, but this would be the only way to see it works.

With regards to your plugins, I do not know. I can not recommend anything other than suggesting that you ask in the appropriate forum which in your case is OpenCart or ask your web developer.

I have saved it in jpg format instead of png format, do I need to do a fetch now link within the product feed on Google shopping within the merchant centre? I just noticed the feed has change from the image encoding error to the message - Wait up to 3 days for image crawl to complete. Is there a quicker way or do I need to wait up to 3 days?

How can I fix this error - Automatic item disapprovals due to policy violation. I don't know why they have been disapproved

Also how can I fix this error - Incorrect product identifiers - I have added MPN numbers to the products within the opencart 2 admin side on the product data tab

1) Simply wait 3 days, there is no faster method.

2) That depends on the violation, there are hundreds of violations I recommend you read the violation reason and the documentation. And also read Google's Policy. As you are responsible for the data submitted, you must know the policies. https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6149970?hl=en

3) You must submit Brand + GTIN and or MPN else set identifier exists to false

Google Shopping has allot of policies, and recommend you understand the policies before submitting products. Otherwise there is a high risk of account suspension.

Hope it helps.
