Hi I am new to google shopping, with little idea on how to make it work, I have a website, I read this: ''When you wish to list all your products on Google Shopping, you are required to have a Google Merchant Center account and must submit your items within a data-feed.''

Questions is about the data feed:

Do I Need to add all the products of the website to the feed? or can I just add the products I wish to promote?

Thank you so much in advance

(1) no -- there is no requirement to add all products;
(2) yes -- you can just add the products you wish to promote.

be certain all items that are submitted as in stock
are currently in your on-hand physical inventory
and can be purchased securely.

as a best-practice, register only one feed once;
use the same registered feed for all updates --

including any future additions, deletions, or changes.

items are tracked by id -- id values should be unique per item

and never change; any missing items are considered a delete;

a best-practice is to use a mix of letters and numbers for id; e.g.

the feed must be re-uploaded at least monthly,
about 5-days before the items are scheduled to
expire -- or immediately after any change to the
website or physical inventory occurs.

also, be certain that the inventory items submitted are not
already being submitted from another site or marketplace
to avoid self-competition in the auctions or a disapproval
or suspension for duplicate listings.
