colletible, artisan jewelry with no brand, gtin or mpn
We've been frustrated with this point for some time and must figure this out. Some of our clients have collectible jewelry with no brand (in fact nearly all our content is collectible.) It is hand made and typically 20th century or earlier. These may include work by American Indian or Mexican artists. So while an artist may (or may not) be known, there is no commercial producer or retailer brand. So it is not possible to indicate brand as required by the apparel/jewelry attribute requirements let alone also GTIN or mpn (neither of which exist.) Should we categorize such listings, instead, to Arts & Entertainment > Hobbies & Creative Arts > Collectibles to resolve this issue? We want to approach this correctly. Thank you in advance

(1) the physical categorization of an item is the same
regardless of any global-trade-data (mpn, gtin, brand).
Apparel & Accessories > Jewelry
Apparel & Accessories > Jewelry > Earrings
for apparel (accessory) items the google_product_category
attribute is required and the value must be exactly as google
has defined and accurately reflect the physical item.
(2) apparel (accessories) require only a valid brand from the manufacturer --
if a valid brand does exist the data must be submitted -- regardless of the
item's physical condition or age.
if a valid brand does not exist simply submit the
identifier_exists attribute with a value of FALSE
if identifier_exists is FALSE simply do not submit any other
global-trade-data for that item (brand, mpn, gtin) -- leave
the values entirely blank (empty) for those specific items.
if all items in a feed have a valid identifier exists of FALSE
then gtin, mpn, and brand may be removed altogether.
(3) the items should follow all other apparel (accessories) requirements --
the type of physical item determines what is required.
