My current domain points to Amazon. But i have some items to sell that they won't let me sell, so I was looking to sell on Google. can I sell on both with one domain name?

Hi Claudia S,

Welcome to adwords community, You are selling your product in amazon, But you have some more items but amazon refuse to sell your new product and you want to sell both product from new domain. Let me know if I misunderstood your question.

If Yes then you can sell your product in google with new domain.

Hope it helps you.

items can most certainly be advertised on google.

currently, items cannot be purchased on google (shopping).

google-shopping is for advertising items that
can be purchased on an e-commerce website --
google-shopping connects people looking for
products with places to buy them online.

google-shopping is for displaying (product-listing) ads -- items
that have enough bid and quality to win a slot in the ad-auctions
are displayed as ads on google-shopping; the cost is per click.

an online shopping-cart, secure
e-commerce checkout, and a
domain you own, are required,
before purchasing ads.

if the items can be purchased on your private website (new domain)
and are not already being submitted to google from any other website,

then product-listing-ads on google (shopping) can be considered for

advertising your in-stock inventory.

google (shopping) ads drive traffic to e-commerce
websites where products can then be purchased.

I was hoping to use only the one domain but duh that wouldn't work.

before considering a second domain be certain that
no current site or marketplace is already submitting
physical inventory you own to google-shopping --
double-serving is not allowed.
