We deal in funeral products and services such as caskets and cremation urns. We would like to know the  best product category that fits our cremation urns on google merchant.

Hi Mensah,

Welcome to Adwords Community.

Adwords has a particular category for funeral services, I think that helps you. Check the below image. For further information check here

the google_product_category value for a u.s. registered data-feed,
or a feed that is using all u.s. taxonomy values, would currently be:
Religious & Ceremonial > Memorial Ceremony Supplies > Memorial Urns

generally, if an exact value that categorizes the physical item,
cannot be found among current taxonomy values then, simply
use a high-level google-defined value that is a best-match for
the physical item;
e.g.
Religious & Ceremonial > Memorial Ceremony Supplies
or, in this case, simply:
Religious & Ceremonial

then, also submit a product_type value that more exactly categorizes the
physical item, using a private taxonomy value, with proper > breadcrumbs.

only google_product_category must use an exact google-defined value;
product_type may use almost any value you wish as long as the value
is relevant to the categorization of the physical product, conforms to
google's policies, and uses proper > breadcrumbs.

note that, currently, the products-and-services categories (that
are used by the targeting-idea-service, optimization-service,
to generate new keyword and placement ideas, within the

adwords-api  web-service) have absolutely nothing to do with

a google-defined taxonomy value that is required for the

google_product_category attribute, in a merchant-center

data-feed, for product-listing-ads -- but might help with

ideas for product_type if proper > breadcrumbs are used.

currently, google_product_category has rather specific requirements:
