Why can't I setup a shopping campaign in New Zealand

I recently setup merchant centre and a shopping campaign & dynamic remarketing campaign for an Australian client and have been getting some great results.

Most of my clients are in NZ though. Why can't I use this services here, and are there any plans to release them?

currently supported target-countries are here --
https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/160637

google typically makes announcements here --
http://adwords.blogspot.com/

google tends to read the forums for future feature input and requests;

however, google tends not to discuss future plans in the public forums.

as an aside, product-listing-ads may be submitted for any target-country

if all the (registered feed's) target-country rules and policies can be met  --

regardless of where the merchant is physically located.

Thanks, regarding your last point, how could you submit pla, since you can't setup a merchant centre for that location?

first, you're welcome.

the product-listing-ads would need to be
submitted for a supported target-country.

product-listing-ads are submitted based on the rules and policies
of a registered-feed's target-country -- not the merchant's location.

for example, to submit product-listing-ads for a.u., an n.z. based merchant
would need to have a website that displayed prices in aud and ensure that
items could be shipped to all users in a.u. within a timely manner -- among
many other (a.u.) applicable rules, requirements, and policies.

then, the data-feed would need to be registered for a.u. -- not n.z.

the website, e-commerce, tax, currency, language, delivery, product,
and most other rules and policies are based on the registered feed's
target-country -- not the merchant's or aggregator's physical location.

when the merchant-center-account is created the user's
business-location is selected -- nz should be available; or,
an aggregator can submit the data on the client's behalf.

Gothcha, I misunderstood. What you describe is is exactly what I did for a client that made me really want those features for all my NZ clients!

NZ & Aus are such similar countries I can't understand why they would withhold such an important part of their product. I will go back to waiting with fingers crossed for them to roll it out.
