Where do the grey descriptive words in display ads come from?

Under some of my product titles, but above the basic black text description, appear small, grey descriptive words such as long, sleeveless, etc. These words are NOT in my product feed, meta tags, etc. How does Google decide what words will appear there, and can there be more than one. It would be great to have some control over these additional decriptive words.

such information may be derived from global-trade-data
submitted, correlated with a brand-manufacturer and
other internal sources -- so, be certain that any and all
global-trade-data submitted is accurate.

generally, google is constantly experimenting with a wide variety of
data sources and how, when, and where such information might be

displayed; currently, there is no direct control by merchants.
