What is id and gtin in Google shopping feed?
I am creating google shopping feed for one of my client based in the UK for an E-commerce website to sell sanitary products.
So the problem is that when I create the feed in merchant center, there 2 columns which I don't understand, first is "id", which is the first column and second is "gtin".
I read that "gtin" is a barcode or product code of 14 digits value. But my client is have a barcode of less than 14 digits of alphanumeric value, so can i use that? and will google approve that feed.
And secondly, what value should enter in "id" column. Can is put unique value like 101, 102, 103 and so on in that column for all other feeds.?
Please resolve the problem so that my feeds will get approved soon.

They are not all 14 characters and depends on your region.
As for your ID refer to the [id] section of this page: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/188494?hl=en
