Website URL verified but not claimed - cannot find how to claim

In Google Merchant Center, I have a website set up that is verified but not claimed, and it is not providing me the option to claim it.

I have been reading the following:

https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/176793

On Step 3 "Claim Your Website URL", instruction #4 says, "Click I want to claim this website to claim the URL."  However, in my Google Merchant Center general setting screen it shows my URL, a green check mark and "Verified' and then a red "x" and "Unclaimed" - but no link or button that says "I want to claim this website."

How do I get the website claimed?

scroll all the way to the bottom
of the general-setting page and
click on edit-settings.

then, scroll all the way to the top
of the general-settings page and
check the claim check-box.

scroll all the way down and click save.

there are a few reasons why there may be no claim check-box:

(1) the edit-settings box needs to be clicked;
(2) the website has already been claimed;
(3) the website has not been properly verified;
(4) the website is not allowed to be claimed --
e.g. a marketplace-based website such as etsy, ebay, etc.

otherwise, the best likely course would be to contact
google directly so a person can look into the specific
account and the website.

1. (1) the edit-settings box needs to be clicked;
- it has been clicked
2. (2) the website is already claimed; -
-the website is not already claimed
3. (3) the website is not been properly verified;
-the website is already stating as verified
4. (4) the website is not allowed to be claimed --
e.g. a marketplace-based website such as etsy, ebay, etc.
The website is none of these.

unfortunately, forum members cannot look into any account.

what is the exact website url?

what is a screen-capture of the general settings page?

has a person at google been contacted directly?

Can screen-captures be uploaded in this forum reply?

not easily -- instead, try uploading screen-captures
to an external source and posting the public url --
e.g. google-drive or similar.
