Verifying Website for Merchant Set-up: Not working

I'm trying to verify and claim my website URL fixfind.com and have completed both the HTML file upload, successfully: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1798/4721/files/google6297e8ee95326f4d.html?5458845912789012256

As well as adding a metatag to my site.

However, when I try to verify & claim for each: https://merchants.google.com/mc/websiteverification?a=117886155

It isn't working?!?!

Any tips?

generally, verification is best handled directly within
the google-search-console-account and within the

e-commerce website's administrative dashboard --

not the merchant-center-account.

then, later, claimed using the merchant-center-account.

typically, the meta-html-tag verification must be within the head-tag,
of the website's home-page, and the file upload verification must be
under the top-level, of the default website landing-page url -- not
lower under the site, or under any content-delivery-network (cdn),

and not anyplace else, on any other page of the site;
e.g.
https://www.example.com/google6297e8ee95326f4d.html

or, on the site's home-page:

<HEAD>
<meta name="google-site-verification" content="long-verification-string">
...

also, the default website url must be configured to not redirect,
or properly redirect, depending on the website's specific details.

but each e-commerce site's instructions may be

very different, with respect to the details and

what is allowed -- only one method is needed

for website verification.

if there are any issues with verification, the best likely course would
be to ask the hosting-company support directly, or e-commerce site
support directly (e.g. shopify-support), and, also, possibly ask within
the webmaster-central-help-forums.
