How do you hire someone to help you set up.  I am stumped with verifying my website.

none of this makes sense at all:

Website URL
You can edit this URL on the "About your business" page. To add an additional website,
Unverified
Unclaimed
Verify and claim your website URL using one of these methods:
HTML file upload (most common)
Alternative methods

 HTML tag
To use this method, you'll need to add a meta tag to your site's home page.

 Google Analytics
1. Use the asynchronous tracking code in the head section of your page
2. You have "edit" permission for the Analytics web property.
3. Click Verify & claim
The Google Analytics tracking code is used only to verify site ownership. No Google Analytics data will be accessed.

verification and claim are two separate steps.

verification primarily happens within the google-search console --
the best likely course would be to post any verification questions
within the the google-search-console (google-webmasters) forums:
https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!categories/webmasters/verification

in addition, also asking whoever is currently maintaining the e-commerce-system
on the website, or the main hosting-company for the website, or both, may help.

otherwise, google may be contacted directly:
https://support.google.com/merchants/contact/website_verification

specific recommendations for hire is rather beyond the scope
of this community and generally violates the forum policies --
however, the google-partners search may help in this regard:
https://www.google.com/partners/#a_home
