Hello everyone.

What item_group_id gives to advertiser?

If I have some variants of crystal chandeliers: chrome, gold & silver and group them with 1 item_group_id how my products will be displayed in Google Shopping? Will customer have the opportunity to see 1 product and choose in Shopping its different options?

Yes and no, it depends on allot of factors only known to Google.

The purpose is indeed to show 1 product and have the variants listed within the product. However this is not always the case. To have the highest success rate, make sure you fill in all data as accurate as possible such as, color, material, product identifiers (gtin, brand), title etc...

Hope it helps.
