Upload multiple xml product feed files for Google Shopping

Hi,

I am trying to create a google shopping product feed using xml file format and I am trying to upload the file to google merchant center using SFTP.

Now I read that we need to use the same file name for the xml file as that specified in the feed.

Its also mentioned that the file size needs to be 1 GB.

Now just in case my file size exceeds 1 GB I will have to split the file into 2 in which case I will need to create 2 separate names. Does that mean I will have to configure the 2nd name as well in the feed. Is there some way it can pick up the file names dynamically?

if the feed-file exceeds the 1gb limit then, a
second data-feed must be registered within
the merchant-center-account.

be certain that the new feed is only ever

registered once and the name is unique; e.g.

inventory-feed-2-uk.xml

the second name is not configured in any feed;
the second name cannot be picked up dynamically
using sftp or any similar existing user-interface.

however, registered names can be listed
programmatically, using the content-api.
