Unable to upload header image in Showcase Ads

Hi,

This is my first time trying to create the Showcase ad in Shopping campaign. I can't seem to upload the header image. I've followed the image requirements.

The image doesn't seem to be uploaded at all. I tried to upload other sizes images but still unable to do so. When I click open image, the black box just turns to red colour. Is this error coming from my end?

first, you're welcome.

as was indicated, if the new-experience user-interface is being used

and the image meets all the rules, requirements, and specifications,

then the best likely course would be to contact google, so that a
support-specialist at google may look directly into the account --
when contacting google, indicating that the issue relates to the

new showcase-shopping-ads, may help.

first, be certain the new-experience user-interface is being used --
an ad-account with the legacy/old user-interface cannot create or
use showcase-shopping-ads.

the header-image simply represents the collapsed set of products.

the header-image for showcase-shopping-ads must be uploaded
within the newly created ad-group, of type: showcase-shopping.

the header-image has exact standards, that cannot be approximated; e.g.
(a) the file must be exactly 1080x566 pixels;
(b) the image itself must be within 768x402 pixels of the 1080x566 total size;
(c) the format must be jpg or png;
(d) the file size must be less than 10mb;
(e) the image must be high-quality -- e.g. nothing distorted, fuzzy, or blurry;
(f) the image must include at least one for-sale item from the product-group;
(g) text or borders of any kind are not allowed;

generally, the header-image should represent all targeted products.

alternatively, simply select one of the existing product images, to
represent the targeted product-group, during the ad-stage creation.

note that the header-image is not the same as, and cannot use the
same image as, the optional logo used for a showcase-shopping-ad.

otherwise, the best likely course would be to contact google, so
that a support-specialist may look directly into the showcase-ad --
when contacting google, indicating that the issue relates to the
new showcase-shopping-ads, may help.

Hi,

Thanks for addressing my issue.

However, the image that I uploaded is precisely according to the requirements of the image and it just doesn't register. No image were uploaded and of course, save button was disabled.

As you are using Adwords Beta UI, I recommend you report any issues directly to Google. Which can be done in the top right corner of Adwords.

You can also call them to assist you, they might be able to spot something we can't.

Hope it helps.
