Hi, I keep going around in circles with my google merchant feed. The only problem I have is the shipping attribute. I have tried chaging it various ways but now just stumped and was wonder if anyone knows the answer to the below error in my feed.

Too few subattributes for attribute: Shipping
Please make sure that the attribute includes the correct number of subattributes. All colons between subattributes, even for blank values, are required. Learn more

Thanks

Jimmy
Examples:

This is what is in my shopping feed I have a postage for the UK and Europe, I am only submitting a feed for the uk and was wondering if I just need to submit the UK shipping and not all of the below.?

GB: :United Kingdom ONLY 1st Class Royal Mail:0.00,GB: :Europe Airmail (3 - 7 Days) Outside the UK:4.95

for a tab-delimited or google-sheets feed, try simply:
GB::United Kingdom only 1st Class Royal Mail:0.00 GBP

google requires three colons regardless of any other details.

note that google now requires a valid three-letter

iso currency for the shipping-price sub-attribute,

in addition to the two-letter country designation.

also, for a tab-delimited or google-sheets feed be certain

that the column label (first line heading) name is exactly:

shipping

importantly perhaps, google does not officially

support comma-separated-value (csv) feed files --

csv files should not be used.

as an aside, note that if an xml feed-file is being used then,

separate tags are required for each shipping sub-attribute.

alternatively, if a zero shipping-price is for all items in the data-feed
then, simply set a global shipping value in the account and remove
shipping altogether from the feed -- shipping in the feed will override
account-level shipping for a specific item.

(1) the shipping-region should be entirely empty

to indicate no regions -- there is currently a space.

(2) only the target-country shipping should be submitted --
the same feed cannot be used for more than one, single, target-country.

(3) location-based shipping is currently supported only in a.u., u.s., and j.a.

(4) google only uses the lowest shipping-rate value
for a specific item or region, all others are ignored.

(5) comma-separated behavior is dictated by the use-quoted-field settings and
some spreadsheets add quotation-marks simply by re-saving a file; if multiple
values are used always check the used-quoted-field settings and the actual
file for any quotes, by downloading and viewing the file in a browser-window.

always verify the shipping for an item after processing

by clicking on the item's title, under the products-tab.

otherwise, forum-members cannot look into any accounts --

we would likely need more exact information about the feed

file being submitted and account details, posted here in the

public forum, to offer more exact suggestions.

otherwise, a merchant-center support specialist at google may be contacted.

Your best bet is to establish a feed for each country / site to keep it all separate per country.

Hi James,

I'm very new to Google Merchant Centre and am having the same issue. I am based in UK and want to offer free shipping to my UK customers but just cannot figure out the correct configuration of information with colons! I have read all available links more than once but nothing fixes it...

I have even set up a postal service in my settings but that didn't fix it either!
Any pointers would be much appreciated!

Yours Hopefully,

Diane Smiley Happy

Easily do this in Google Merchant under Settings > Shipping
If you want to do it in the data feed for tab delimiter files ie CSV than do the following

shipping
GB:::0.00 GBP

hope it helps.

the best likely course would be to either post a url link to the exact
data-feed file being submitted, and a screen-capture of the feed
status page, by clicking on the feed name, in the merchant-center,
so that everyone can inspect the details here in the public forum.

or, simply contact a merchant-center support-specialist at google directly --
https://support.google.com/merchants/contactflow

unfortunately, forum-members cannot look into any submitted data or accounts --
forum-members can mainly offer suggestions based on the posted information.
