Temporary item disapprovals due to incorrect prices but feed looks ok

The sale price on my feed and landing page are exactly the same value, however I still get the following disapproval error:

 

'Item has been temporarily disapproved because it had a price different than that on your website'

 

Does anyone know how to rectify this?

google may sometimes take 24-72 hours or so
to verify feed data with the website's information
and update the account.

the site must be able to respond properly
to all google's crawl requests, at all times.

importantly, there are specific rules that must be followed
both within the data-feed and on the website with respect
to priice and sale_price information --

generally, the submitted (sale) price must be the only price displayed

or must be prominent and straightforward for the user to locate on the

landing-page page; be certain the non-sale price is also submitted.

 

google is the final arbiter of both prominent and straightforward.

otherwise, google should likely be contacted so that a person
can look directly into the data (feed), website, and account.

One way to avoid this is to setup schema.org microdata on your pages and then turn on the "automatic update" feature in merchant center.

yes, automatic-updates can help in certain specific scenarios.

however, automatic-item updates is not a a replacement
for data-feeds or for regular updates of product-data or
for accurate and proper display of information within the
link landing-page.

generally, automatic-updates are designed to fix a rather
small subset of issues with respect to price or availability.

the landing-page and website must still conform to all the
rules and policies (with respect to price and sale_price data)
and accurate inventory data must continue to be submitted.

Agreed. We send our feed daily yet with over 40K items there will often be some items that have a price update done at a time between daily feeds sending. We would have about 50-100 items getting temporary disaprovals at times and the automatic updates helped correct these until the feed refreshed the next day.
