Temp item disapprovals/incorrect prices. Prices are 1p out.

Hello,

I'm having a few issues regarding Temporary disapproval of items due to incorrect prices. I have about 78 at the moment and this figure is increasing.

The thing is, they all seem to be only 1p out. They are also prices that have not changed in a long time and had suddenly become 1p out. There does not seem to be a pattern. There are a number of instances where Google Merchant Centre is 1p below our price and instances were it is 1p above our price.

Automatic item updates are disabled.

We automatically upload feeds via XML.

Could this just been down to Google rounding differently?

Has anyone experienced this, at all?

Thank you.

Hi

Google uses two set prices, 1. The price submitted within your feed attribute "price" and the price listed on the relevant landing page. Can you possibly include a link to an offending item along with the relevant XML area of your feed pertaining to this item. The fact is in as little as 1p is a little strange. Have you spoken to anyone at Google about this?

Google does not round up or down prices, they display only that of the information you submit.

Does your website calculate costs based on anything such as currency conversion that could throw the cost off?

Ive got the same problem. We have Net prices in our magento database, where the penny is split magento rounds down but google rounds up....Even on prices that are dead centre like 45.5, magento will round down and google goes up from the same split point. We use a plugin to generate the feed, havnt had any joy with my plugin developers and its only a very recent thing.

be certain that the add-to-cart price exactly matches
the link landing-page price for all items submitted --
all three prices should match exactly, at all times,

for all users, regardless of the user's location.

also, any sale_price submitted will override price.
