Switching between accounts in MCC

I've opened up an MCC account and linked two separate AdWords accounts to that MCC. They show up fine on the Accounts > Performance tab, and even on the account dropdown on the top left part of the interface, but once I drill down into one of those accounts, I can no longer switch between accounts, or even get back to the top level. The only way I can do that is to log out and log back in, which is extremely frustrating. Is there something I could do to fix this?

Thanks for all your help!

after drilling-down to features within a merchant-center
multi-client-account, to switch between (sub) accounts,
simply use the (account) drop-down-menu that is near
the upper-left-hand-corner and lists all (sub) accounts --
a sub-account-search is also within the drop-down and
clicking the first account in the list, will navigate back
to the main, parent, merchant-center-account.

however, after drilling-down into a linked shopping-campaign there is no
longer any direct attachment to the merchant-center; control is passed
to the linked account and there is no concept of navigation between any
(linked) accounts - unless a (linked) account is already under an umbrella
my-client-center-account.

that is, the same similar switching between accounts, with respect to
(linked) shopping-campaign accounts, is available via my-client-center.

typically, a multi-client-account is used by either an aggregator or a
marketplace -- a marketplace would not normally be using multiple
linked accounts, while an aggregator would link to individual clients
where billing, payment, and other privacy concerns would be issues;
otherwise, there is normally a one account per merchant policy and
multiple accounts may trigger a disapproval or suspension at any time.
