Hello,

I have one confusion regarding Google Merchant data feed. I have to upload data feed state wise because we have different price for every product state wise.

So, is it possible to upload data feed state wise.

Please provide me your answer as soon as possible.

Thanks,

Hi Kosha,
Do you have different landing pages for the product with different prices for the different states?

Thanks Archit,

For your reply. Currently the situation is our landing pages are under construction we are going to create state wise landing pages which there mention the prices.

That's Great. But I recommend you to first accomplish the Landing page work.

If you will create different landing pages state wise then you need to mention the unique product ids state wise for the same product.

If you will have unique ids for the same product(for different states), you can definitely create different feeds state wise.

Let's wait if any other suggestion from an expert of PLA/shopping comes.

product-listing-ads have no such concept as per-state prices.

the price must be identical for all users.

the one, single, price submitted for the item-offer,
the one, single, price displayed on the link landing-page for the product,
and the one, single, price charged to the customer after the add-to-cart
button is clicked, must all be identical -- for all users, regardless of
a user's physical location, or any other user-identifiable information --
such as ip-address, user-agent, browser, state, region, country, etc.

a physical inventory item may only be submitted once, per target-country.

an item submitted as in stock must be in the merchant's
physical, on-hand, inventory and must be purchasable on
the merchant's website, for the exact submitted price.

tax requirements are per target-country.

shipping and handling charges may be different for each state or region.

the link landing-page and data submitted is based on
google's rules and requirements for a target-country.

"The identifier for each item has to be unique within your account, and cannot be re-used between feeds for the same country in the same language. If you have multiple feeds for one country, ids of items within different feeds must still be unique. If your SKUs are unique across your inventory and meet the requirements below, we suggest you use your SKUs for this attribute."

Expand : id [id] An identifier of the item

the critical phrase is:
"for the same country in the same language"

there are a very few target-countries that google
accommodates and allows multiple languages --
for example, belgium.

those specific countries have very specific requirements --

for both the landing-page and the submitted (feed) data.

the statement about sku's is mainly for those exceptions
or if there are very large inventories; such as, more than

100,000 physical inventory items that may be split among

multiple feeds for a target-country.

only one listing per physical product is allowed.

a best-practice is to use a mix of letters and numbers for id; e.g.

abc123uk

the price requirements and the unique id per physical item,
per target-country, is in no way negated by that reference.

a price or content that is not identical for all users,
regardless of location, is a policy violation, and is
grounds for disapproval or (permanent) suspension
from the program, at any time.
