Sponsored link from Google Adwords and Merchant Services

My example - Search in Google - aloha island shoes.   #1 I am the Full Stack and SEO for SHOE SHOW.  Currently only running Adwords for products via our XML feed to Merchant Services (AWESOME, if I could just the higher management to see the benefits).

My question - Yes we are #1 for organic search, but why does our shoe not show up in the Sponsored Box.  If you click on "Shop for aloha island shoes on Google" we are #1 on the Shopping page.   Just curious how this works.  Thanks a million and Happy Holidays.

the results within the product-listing-ad auctions
are determined by both the bid and quality factors.

simply, the sponsored-ads box nearby organic-search results
has far fewer auction-slots than within google-shopping and
therefore are much more competitive -- so, typically require
either (a) a much higher bid, or (b) much higher quality, or
some combination of both (a) and (b) to win a slot in those
ad-auctions, to be seen.
