Special discount label

Hi everyone,

how can I display info about a special discount in the Shopping PLA? Since it’s not a discount for everyone but only for loyal customers the label ‘24% price drop’ would be misleading:

Instead we’d like to display something like ‘FAMILY special price’ so users immediately knows the discount is reserved for loyal customers only.

Is it possible? Thank you.

price-drop is typically an automated promotion that cannot be set by merchants.

likely factors include the long-term stability of the original price,
product or store popularity, followed by a sudden drop in price
or sale_price within the submitted data, over some percentage --

in this case 24%.

however, the automatic price-drop promotional-label
is triggered by specific factors known only to google.

that said, there is the separate merchant-promotions-program --
where similar promotional text may be submitted via a merchant
promotions-feed or set within the merchant-center-account.

the merchant-promotions-program has separate rules and policies;
generally, the promotion cannot be restricted to any specific group
or a subset of customers -- loyal or otherwise.

note that promotional information cannot be added to any product-feed and
is otherwise a policy violation and grounds for disapproval or a suspension.
