Shopping Datafeed: Question on the "title" attribute

Hi everyone

 

Can I put words like promotion, deal, coupon, offer in the title on my datafeed for Google Shopping ?

no -- that is not allowed.

such promotional text is not allowed anyplace within submitted
product data -- and is grounds for both item disapproval and
(permanent) suspension, at any time.

a products-feed is for submitting information about physical items
or how the physical item might be used -- any ancillary information
whatsoever -- such as shipping or billing details, stock information
store policies, call-to-action phrases, general website information,
promotions, deals, coupons, special offers, or anything similar --
are not allowed to be submitted within any item (feed) data and
is grounds for disapproval or suspension, at any time.

promotional-messages may be added to ad-text, automatically, purely
at google's discretion, based on accurate price, sale_price, shipping,
or similar data, submitted in the (feed) attributes or set in the account --
assuming the data abides by current rules, policies, and specifications.

alternatively, the optional merchant-promotions-program
or, similar third-party programs, may be used to submit
certain specific promotional-text, offers, and coupons --

typically by using a separate promotions-feed -- within

the guidelines of the merchant-promotions-program.
