Shopify's feed only displays highest cost shipping option

We recently converted our online store to Shopify, in part because they have a Google Shopping integration.  However they claim that they must display the highest cost shipping option otherwise Google will suspend my account.  They don't understand that a visitor is not going to click on a $10 listing with a $30 shipping cost.  I have gone around and around with several folks at Shopify, here is their latest reply:

"I double checked with our Google Shopping channel team and with the way your shipping rates are pushed from Shopify to Google, all the rates are pushed over, including Priority Mail/Priority Mail Express. When we submit the shipping rates, we only display the highest shipping option as Google has a strict policy on being open with shipping rates.

As Google displays one rate, to make sure your business doesn't get flagged automatically for "hiding rates", we submit the highest rate as a preventative measure to help eliminate the risk of being flagged for hiding shipping rates."

Anyone else have this problem?

that sounds correct, by design.

(a) from a google policy perspective -- shipping displayed for
a shopping-ad must be either exactly accurate, or an overestimate,
for all users within the country being targeted for shopping-ads,
or is otherwise a policy violation and grounds for disapproval or
a permanent suspension from the program, at any time.

(b) shipping may be either set in the merchant-center-account, or
submitted to google in the (feed) data -- however, if any shipping

is submitted for an item-offer, the submitted shipping overrides all

shipping-settings, for that item-offer.

(c) from a google technical perspective -- only the lowest shipping-price
value is ever selected to be displayed for a shopping-ad; there is usually
no need to submit more than one shipping-price option, except based on
locale, since currently, there is no direct user-selection of any shipping
option by a user, viewing a shopping-ad.

shopify is likely taking these two perspectives and using the safest
possible outcome for all shopify merchants -- regardless, the decision,
and any potential alternatives, are likely best discussed with shoppify

support directly, or by posting the issue in the related shopify-forums,

as shopify's decisions and any related feed-management tools, are

rather outside the scope of google's forums.

generally, always verify the shipping-rate details, by clicking on an
item's title, under the products-list-tab, of the merchant-center-account,
and carefully inspecting the shipping-rate-calculator.

Shopify's feed only displays highest cost shipping option

All I want is for Shopify to display real-time Priority Mail rates on Google Shopping; that is what is displayed on our website.  However Shopify chooses to display Priority Mail Express - which is an overnight service.  Right from Google:

"The costs that you submit to Merchant Center must match the costs that you charge on your website. If you can’t, overestimate shipping costs. Keep in mind users will use these costs when deciding whether to click your ad or not. "

https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6069284?hl=en

The reason I am posting on this forum is to find other Shopify customers in similar positions.  I can't believe that ANY Shopify merchant is receiving clicks based on the displayed express shipping costs.

yes, those are part of the shipping policies for shopping-ads,
displayed on google-shopping; the shipping-rate must be either
exactly accurate, or an overestimate, with respect to the cost
that the merchant actually charges and displays on the website.

the shipping-rate displayed within the merchant-center, used for shopping-ads
on google-shopping, is a result of either (a) the shipping-settings set within
the merchant-center-account, or (b) a per-item override: shipping details, sent
to google, via the product-inventory (feed) data.

to find any other shopify-customers in similar positions,
related to shipping and shopify, the best likely course is
to (also) post in the shopify-forums; e-commerce specific
issues are rather outside the scope of google's forum,
and likely must be addressed by someone at shopify.
