Set different delivery times for products

Hello,

We have different suppliers who have completely different delivery times (and prices). While setting delivery times I saw that it's possible to set different times depending on the type of product, however I didn't figure out how exactly is that possible.

I'd appreciate if someone can give a detailed step-by-step guide to that.

(a) delivery-transit-times are set within the merchant-center,
under advanced shipping settings -- but is currently available
only for shipping within the u.s. or a.u. target-countries.

(b) delivery-handling-times are set within the submitted data (feed)
by including the min_handling_time and max_handling_time attributes --
however, the attributes may only be submitted for a u.s. or a.u. feed
and will otherwise be ignored.

note that google's new delivery features relate to
providing more accurate information with respect
to the amount of time a merchant normally takes
to process an order -- not for drop-shipping, or
where such shipping details are unknown, or are
in some way, out of direct control of the merchant.

(c) those references do not, in any way, indicate that
drop-shipping is explicitly allowed, nor do the references
indicate that, according to google drop-shipping is not
a problem -- rather, the opposite.

the references even indicate that (1) one merchant who attempted to drop-shop
was suspended and (2) only the affiliate-advertising-for-shopping beta program
allowed for any drop-shipping related supply-chains.

most drop-shipping related supply-chains do not, or cannot,
meet all google's rules and policies related to shopping-ads --

that was the main point of google citing some of policies.

generally, google has rules and policies for a business,
physical products, physical inventory, supply-chains,
the claimed website, images, legal manufacturer's data,
such as gtin and brand, all submitted data, and how a

business or product has been represented to the public,

especially over time.

(d) seeing shopping-ads from other merchants with similar supply-chains,
does not, in any way whatsoever, indicate that a specific practice is allowed
by google; for example, the merchants may be part of google's beta-program,
or have simply not been caught yet.

google does not verify that a merchant is following all the rules and
policies, all the time -- a disapproval, or more permanent suspension
from the program, may be triggered at any time.

Unfortunately drop shipping is not allowed as this is considered affiliate sales.

You can only advertise for products that you have in your warehouse.

Hope it helps.

We are working with wholesale suppliers and have a unique web-site experience and brand. I can see most of our competitors on Google Shopping use dropshipping (implicitly).

According to Google this is not a problem:
