Restrictions for Aggregators in Google Merchant Center

Hi,

I am from a company which submits google feeds on behalf of individual merchants. In Google's parlance, we are called as Aggregators as I understand. For one of the merchants, for whom we own the Shopping Cart, but for whom we do not actually submit his feeds, claims that he cannot use the manual solution himself to upload feeds as it is a violation of Google's policy. But I haven't come across any such policy from Google. Can any one let us know if there is any such policy that prevents merchants from using manual upload solution to submit feeds?

I have gone through the below link for some details

Hi First I,
As far as I was aware, it was always one or the other. The way I read the following line:

"We do not accept marketplace listings that are submitted by individual marketplace sellers, unless their Marketplace does not submit a product feed on their behalf."

...is that the only way the individual seller can submit his own feed is if he is the ONLY one submitting a feed on that domain.

This makes sense too when you think about it.

I'd suggest that you contact shopping support directly to clarify this: https://support.google.com/merchants/?rd=1#contact=1&topic=3404818
