We sell jewelry.  The attributes; Color, Age Group, and (often) Gender do not apply.  How do I get my products approved when they require a non applicable attribute?

what is required to be submitted depends both
on (a) the type of physical item and (b) variants,

item groupings.

all jewelry falls under the google_product_category of:
Apparel & Accessories > Jewelry
one exception is watches, which have additional requirements.

therefore, the rules and policies for apparel
accessories (other apparel) must be followed:
https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/1344057

such items require a valid color, gender, age_group,
and either a valid brand or identifier_exists FALSE

if there are variants then, item_group_id must be identical for all items
in the variant group; otherwise, if there are no variants, item_group_id
should not be submitted for those items.

a valid color is required for jewelry.

a valid color should simply be a single standard color
name for the most dominate color of the (jewelry) item.

for example, an onyx ring might have a color value of simply:
black

up to three dominate colors may be submitted -- separated
by slashes; for example, a turquoise and onyx ring with a
gold band might use a color value of:
turquoise/black/gold

gender should be the gender that the jewelry item was specifically
designed for, or the gender that typically uses the item; otherwise:
unisex

the age_group for most all jewelry items must be:
adult
unless the specific jewelry item was designed
for a specific age_group that google allows; e.g.
kids

there are other required attributes for
jewelry items listed under apparel other --
https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/1344057

otherwise, without the required attributes with exact values that are valid
and relevant for the physical item, such items simply cannot be submitted
without triggering a disapproval or (permanent) suspension, at any time.

otherwise, there are many other campaign-types
and ad-formats that are available, do not have
such strict rules and policies, and may be a better
fit for advertising certain products.
