I have one question.I am having an e commerce website. So is there necessary to put my contact number there ?
I read somewhere that some merchant accounts have been banned by google due to some reasons.
So we dont want to display our number publically and want that if customers having any issue then they must contact us through our business email id.So is that ok if we only out our website business email in contact us page ?
Waiting for your reply.
Thank You.

generally, accurate contact information on the website includes
a business email-address that is current and valid, a business
phone-number that rings and is answered during normal business
hours, and a business street-address that resolves properly on
google-maps and is associated with the merchant who is stocking
and submitting their physical product inventory.

all items submitted as in stock must be physically in the merchant's
on-hand inventory during the entire time that the item is listed --
drop-shop, cataloged, affiliate, or related supply-chains are not allowed.

however, a best-practice is to not make any changes to the
website, account, or submitted data, without first obtaining
help and guidance from a merchant-center product-listing-ad
support-specialist, directly at google --

google is the final arbiter of all rules, recommendations, and policies.

We are just asking that is there any possibility to get my merchant and adwords account ban if we will not put number on website and site location on map.We dont want to out our location on google maps like many other big e commerce are doing. So will this case to ban our accounts , and if yes then its redicilous.

We will put these links in our website -
About Us
Contact Us (Website Official Email id , facebook link , Twitter link , Direct Online chat Link )
Privacy Policy
Terms And Condition
Warrany And Return
Payment Method
Shipping and Handeling
Discalaimer
FAQ
Payment gateway Information
SSl certificate Information

I dont think after we will write all of the above things , there will be chances of banning our merchant or adwords account , what you say ?

this is mainly a peer-to-peer forum.

google is the final arbiter of all polices.

google may be contacted directly here --
https://support.google.com/merchants/contactflow
when contacting google be certain to indicate that the question
is concerning product-listing-ads and merchant-center policies.

any one, single, policy violation, on the website, in the account,

or within any submitted (feed) data, can result in a disapproval

or a (permanent) suspension from the program, at any time.

As Celebird already mentioned if you ignore the policy requirements than the possibility of getting suspend is true. You are required to add all listed contact details which includes the telephone number.

Hello first, thanks for taking the time to read the full policy.
Second if you are not aware, we are merely community members, meaning other merchants, freelancers or agencies that help (you could say like a charity) and have nothing to do with Google.
Third to point you to the exact line, please scroll to the 38th line on the following page

Lastly you can always contact Google Adwords for any questions.

Thanks for Your Reply Emmanuel ,
38the line is - "Accurate contact information. Your website must display sufficient and accurate contact information, including a telephone number and/or email "

It's saying site must display "telephone number and/or email".
Which means it does not have necessary to put number if we put business help email id and live chat support link.
Thats what i was talking about above when i was saying that the things which we will put on the website.

Correct me if i am wrong ?
