Products suddenly "Disapproved or invalid"

Tonight, all of my products went from being approved to "Disapproved or Invalid". I made no recent changes to the feed or data. This past week, I saw an uptick in the number of impressions and clicks being delivered from PLAs.

 

I contacted chat support and was told that there is a technical issue at the moment and to re-fetch the feed and the issue should resolve itself soon.

 

Just wanted to post to see if anyone else is having the same issue. My dashboard shows the products are disapproved, but when looking at diagnostics everything is still showing "Looking Good". Also, the products tab loads very slowly and I get a weird error message after about 15 seconds that says "OfferError.ERROR_OFFER_REPOSITORY_INTERNAL @"

yes -- the error is internal and a re-submit of the (feed) data
and a reload of the merchant-center pages have fixed the

issue within a few hours or so.

diagnostics 'looking-good' under current-issues, refers to
overall-account, feed-processing, or website-crawl status,
not individual item status -- although, item-status can be
effected by account, feed, or site issues up to 72-hours
or so after a feed has been processed.

per-item status can fluctuate and a final item status can sometimes take
72-hours or so to be assigned, after (feed) data has been resubmitted.

otherwise, if a support-specialist has already been contacted,
the best likely course is to continue working with the specialist
who is already handing the case.

Thanks, Celebird! The only thing I have to do is "Fetch Now" on the feed and wait a few hours?

first, you're welcome.

there are multiple ways to resubmit (feed) data --
if fetch-now is what is normally used then, yes.

ftp was used for our re-submits -- but a
fetch-now should have the same effect.

 

if not, then a support-specialist should likely be contacted --

the products-tab may simply take awhile to be fully repaired.

Products are still showing "disapproved or invalid" this afternoon. I will have to try calling support to see if they have any suggestions or more details on why this happened.

the internal-error issue and the suddenly
disapproved items issue could be unrelated.

there are constant checks of the submitted (feed) data,
website, landing-pages, physical inventory, business,

business-model, supply-chain, etc., against all aspects

of the current rules, specifications, and policies --
disapprovals may happen at any time.

unfortunately, forum members cannot look into the feed or accounts --
we would normally need a lot more specific information posted here
in the public forums to offer more specific suggestions.

otherwise, yes, the best likely course
would be to contact support directly.

I'm on hold waiting to speak to someone, hopefully they can help Smiley Happy

The support documents say to click on a link "Why was this product disapproved?" but my product pages don't show this link. I also never received any emails about disapproval.

Just want to post an update in case this can help someone else too.

The phone support said they can't see why they're disapproved, but to wait a full 24 hours after having re-fetched the feed, and if it still shows disapproved tomorrow they will escalate the issue. They said there is no information on their end why my products would have been disapproved.

first, thank you for the continued updates.

if the products-tab does not show a why-link, below the technical-details
section, next to shopping, after clicking on the individual item's title
then, try clicking on the current-issues blue-boxes for account and items,
under the diagnostics-tab.

 

if any current-issues-boxes can be clicked, there should be an

information-bubble to the left and a learn-more link to the right,

aside each set of issues.

the diagnostics-tab's current-issues boxes may take 24-hours or so to update.

yes, per-item status can fluctuate and a final per-item status may take
24-72 hours or so to be assigned, after (feed) data has been resubmitted --
if the status is not final, the current disapproval status may be temporary.
