My products are sitting in Google display - Pending status for well over a month now, to be honest I actually think it has been sitting this way since May and we are now August.

How long does this normally take, its doing my head in. Woman Sad

assuming the submitted data, website, and dynamic-ads, meet
all google's interest-based-advertising policies, a review should
normally take about three-business-days.

only the shopping-destination relates to product-listing-ads/shopping-campaigns.

the display-destination relates to dynamic-remarketing for retail --
and can otherwise be ignored, or the display-destination should
be disabled, under the feed's settings.

if the submitted data is being used for dynamic-remarketing for retail then,
the interest-based advertising policies, within the data and on the website,
must be followed.

dynamic-ads for retail simply use the same merchant-center

account as shopping-ads, as a convenience, to submit data

for both ad-types -- shopping and dynamic ads (for retail).

dynamic-ads and shopping-ads have similar but different policies.

the display-destination feed for dynamic remarketing should take
72-hours or so to be reviewed -- otherwise, the feed or website
likely does not adhere to the interest-based advertising policies,
or the linked-account is missing a proper dynamic-remarketing
campaign, or the dynamic-ads are not properly configured, or

the site's pages do not have proper dynamic-remarketing-tags.

otherwise, forum-members cannot look into any accounts or
any submitted data; we can mainly offer suggestions based
on the information posted here within the public-forums --

posting the website link url, how dynamic and shopping

ads are configured, and the advertising-goals of the two

campaigns, may help.

otherwise, a dynamic-remarketing-for-retail/display-ad,
support-specialist at google may be contacted directly
for account-specific guidance.

Thank you for your help,

The products were originally knocked back due to missing automatic updates
for shipping and stock levels, I changed this info in the setting to read
Automatic and still nothing has changed or been approved.

I am not sure what else I can do to fix this.

first, you're welcome.

these would be three different issues:
- a disapproval for violating the policies for shopping-ads;
- issues related to automatic-item-updates and shopping-ads;
- a pending status for display-ads;

shopping-ads and display-ads are different.

the best likely course would be to contact google directly,
so that a support-specialist can look into the account and
submitted data to offer account-specific help and guidance
concerning how to fix each of these different issues:

Hi Amanda,
As Celebird mentioned the feed review process usually takes up to 3 business days. In this case it seems that your feed is stuck before policy review and I suggest you to activate your campaign structure in order to expedite the approval process. In order to activate your campaign structure you should have an active campaign, active adgroup, active Dynamic Remarketing creative, a feed linked to this whole structure and finally the tags implemented with prod_ids firing in your website. I hope it helps.
