Hi,

I got 'Data Quality Suspension Warning of Your Google Merchant Center Account' mail from Google. I'm quoting excerpt from that mail

"Your product listings are currently at risk of suspension because Google Shopping doesn’t allow product listings with inaccurate prices (due to value-added tax (VAT) related issues):"

On my website we are showing both price Inc VAT & Ex VAT and in XML feed I was using products price excluding VAT and that was working well but after getting email from Google I have updated procucts feed price including VAT.

When I checked today they disapproved almost products & reason was difference in price in feed & on website

Now Google picking excluding products price from website . How to fix the issue?

Thanks

(a) vat rules depend on the (registered feed's) target-country.

(b) google recommends only one, single, price on the landing-page.

(c) if more than one price is on the landing-page,
then the submitted price is required to be the
most prominent -- generally, prominent means
the largest font and the most dominate color --
however, google is the final arbiter of prominent.

otherwise, remove all but the submitted price from the landing-page.

if there is any price difference, whatsoever, between
the submitted data and the landing-page data, that is
grounds for disapproval or (permanent) suspension
from the program, at any time.

as an aside, if microdata is enabled in the account then,

the microdata on the website's landing-page must also

match the displayed data and the submitted data.

Hi Celebird,
Thanks for your reply . My target country is UK that is one of registered target country.

Second thing as you mentioned that the submitted price is required to be the most prominent . On my website Ex VAT price is prominent so you mean that I have to use EX vat Price in the feed?

Thanks

first, you're welcome.

for a u.k. registered feed, all prices must include vat.

the price submitted, the price displayed on the link
landing-page, and the default add-to-cart price must
all include vat.

generally, only the vat-included price should be displayed to users --
only one, single, item with one, single, price on the landing-page;
otherwise, the most prominent price must include vat.
