Product updates via CSV?

Hello,

I need to add Google categories to all of my products and add variants to some of them to get them all to show up on Google Shopping. I started doing it manually, but I was wondering if a data feed would speed up the process. I have thousands of products that I am importing from my Shopify webstore, and the app did not add the Google categories automatically. I created a test data feed to see what the fields would looks like, and I can copy and paste from my product CSV as well as add variants, etc. if I know for sure that the changes will appear in Google.

for third-party implementations the best likely course
is to ask the third-party support organization directly
or ask in one of the third-party support forums --
in this case shopify.

generally, be certain not to submit any variants
if the variants are not submitted within google's
rules and policies.

currently, officially supported data-feed file formats are here:

UPDATE: I just discovered that the Google Shopping app in Shopify allows for bulk Google category additions, although you can only see 25 products at a time. I will use this for now, but any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!
