Hi,

Our product sells good on Amazon and gets lots of reviews. After that, we start our own website and advertise on google shopping. I am very interested in product rating but haven't had many reviews on our own website. My question is that can I use Amazon reviews for product rating?

Thanks,

Mandy

the short answer is no.

google may collect product-ratings automatically,

from approved third-party product-ratings sites --

merchants cannot submit product-ratings from

third-party sites.

generally, for google to collect product-ratings, automatically,

the item should be currently sold by multiple merchants and

have valid global-trade-data assigned by the manufacturer.

otherwise, product-ratings may be uploaded by merchants,

from the product-ratings data on the merchant's website, or

by third-party approved aggregators on behalf of merchants --

assuming the site and product information meets all google's

rules and policies.

note that product-ratings are not the same as seller-ratings.

Hi,

Thank you for your kind reply.

Google says we can upload product ratings feeds. So 'product ratings' here should come from our own website, right?

Sorry about the stupid question. I am new to this. Again I really appreciate your guidance Smiley Very Happy

first, you're welcome.

yes, that sounds correct.

product-ratings may be uploaded by merchants,

but the data must come from the product-ratings

that are on the merchant's website.
