most (delays in) awaiting product reviews are usually triggered by a few issues; e.g.
(a) a potential policy violation of an item, feed, website, or type of item;
(b) submitted data not adhering to the rules or policies of a target-country;
(c) a recently registered feed or a feed with unreported (syntax) errors;
(d) a feed that has not been updated with respect to the most recent policies;
(e) certain (feed) data updates -- such as a new product or any id update;
(f) a feed that has not been updated (re-uploaded) in over a month;
(g) id values not unique or that change per item across multiple feeds;
(h) a website or image that requires a recrawl or re-review or both;

generally, check the products-tab, data-feed status, and the data-feed
status-summary-report against all google's current rules and policies --
especially if the feed has not been updated or re-submitted in awhile.

if there are any obvious issues, simply make the corrections
in the feed or on the website, and then re-upload the feed.

otherwise, google may be contacted directly.

Hello Celebird! Thank you for your time in contributing to help us!

I have a few products the last several days that are jumping in and out of review status. The ads go down, come back up and over again! Nothing for these products feed data have changed for many months. They go down for several hours and then come back up. The "Product Page" icons go from hour glass to swirl to check mark and then all over again!

Any ideas what is happening?

first, you're welcome.

how are id values being handled?

what is the frequency of feed updates?
is only one single feed registered with google?
how many target-countries have a registered feed?

are any id values basic integers (e.g. 8,9,10,20,30)?
how exactly are item and feed updates being handled?

have there been any changes to the website or physical inventory?
what does the debugger verification indicate for these few products?
what exact information is shown when each item is clicked in the products-tab?
has google been contacted directly?

first, you're welcome.
Thanks again!!!!!!

how are id values being handled?
I have very few products, 29. So my ID values are a hodgepodge of 2, 3 or
4 numeric values. The one causing me the most stress is ID# 62. I have
always wanted to clean this up but afraid I would lose "juice" they have
been the same for so long and do very well. Will I lose juice if I clean
these up and organize the ID values? What values should I use?

what is the frequency of feed updates?
I re-upload towards the last few days of the "30 days".

is only one single feed registered with google?
The feed affected has 26 products, I have 2 other feeds with only 2
products each. Once again "sloppy" put was afraid to change the feed of 26.

how many target-countries have a registered feed?
Targeting US,Canada, Mexico from Adwords Shopping.

are any id values basic integers (e.g. 8,9,10,20,30)?
Most are integers under 100, a few have values of 3 or 4 (500, 6000) the
one of most concern is ID 62

how exactly are item and feed updates being handled?
I have a excel spreadsheet in txt format, I manually upload from the Google
Merchant data feed tab. Replacing the same older feed.

have there been any changes to the website or physical inventory?
My feed does not cover inventory and I have no connection between the
website and data connection.

what does the debugger verification indicate for these few products?
Items processed: 26 | Items valid: 26

what exact information is shown when each item is clicked in the
products-tab?
At this very moment

ID 62
is up and shows
,
Shopping: Searchable Search API for Shopping

:
Searchable. When down either shows Awaiting Review or Not Yet Searchable
for both.

Some of my less important products are still in this boat, and down right
now but they too are jumping in and out of review.

has google been contacted directly?
Yes, thanks to you
,
I reported at the link you provided to someone else and sent
to Google

last night.

generally, once an id has been assigned to an item, the id

should never, ever, change -- any change to the id will trigger
a delete and insertion of (what is considered) a new item, loss

of the item's historic information and ranking, and a re-review.

only one, single, live feed should be needed per target-country --
the single feed can handle between one and 100,000 items or so.

multiple feeds or multiple target-counties require careful
coordination of all feed updates and id values -- id values
must be unique per item, across all feeds and countries;  e.g.
62
62-ca
62-mx
the same feed, the same id values, or the same landing-page,
cannot be used for more than one, single, target-country.

a best-practice is to use internal-sku or similar values for id.

the submitted feed must match physical on-hand inventory
and the website link landing-page information, at all times --
and is otherwise grounds for an extended review, disapproval,
or suspension from the program, at any time.

since google has already been contacted directly, the best likely
course is to simply wait for the person at google who is assigned
to the issue to look into the account, feeds, items, and website.

Hi Crew T,

Welcome to the AdWords community and thanks for your question.

The review process is not stated as a 24 - 48 hour process - Google say the review process will take "up to 2 business days" to complete.

As your question was posted on a Sunday I can only assume your product feed was submitted late on a Thursday and has only had 1 full business day to be eligible for review.

I suspect your products will be reviewed today and you should check back later this evening/tomorrow for an update - If your products still haven't been reviewed by this time then I would recommend contacting Google AdWords policy & ad review team on 0800 169 0409 - Make sure you have your 'Customer ID' to hand (this can be found in the top right hand corner of your AdWords account after you login).

I hope that answers your question and i wish you the best of luck with your AdWords campaigns :-)
