We are working on launching an ecommerce store in next few weeks in US. I have read Google Shopping TOS and i am making sure all our products and feed are strictly according to the TOS.

We were thinking to add a feature into our site, which will help customers to compare our prices with other online stores like amazon.

On each product page we will show comparing prices from amazon, bestbuy and others to help our customers, make an informed decision in buying from us. We will be offering the best prices around. The customer will be able to checkout with us or if they want they can check the details on other sites like amazon, bestbuy etc by clicking the buttons given on the product page. We will be adding exact URLs from those sites so that customers dont have to search these again while going to those sites.

I was unable to find anything in google shopping TOS regarding this sort of feature. Does this feature comply with your TOS? If this does not comply with the TOS, then please help/guide us to modify this feature for our customers. We strongly believe that our customers will love this feature and we will have a better support.

as was indicated, there are many additional policies
that would likely not allow such a landing-page.

for example, the link url must link
to a webpage about your products.

for example, google recommends only one, single, product per page.

for example, it must be straightforward for the user
to find the correct item and corresponding price --
google is the arbiter of straightforward.

etc.

of course, google is the final arbiter of all policies --
google may disapprove an item or feed or suspend
an account, at any time.

unfortunately, that business-model is likely a violation.

generally, google-shopping requires physical inventory
in your direct possession or in direct possession by sellers
who you support directly and sell from the site.

in addition, the business-model would likely be in violation
of price, landing-page, and purchase related policies --

we will have the inventory ourselves, and customer will be able to order from us and we will be able to send them whatever they order from us.

the landing page will have the product same as we advertise on google shopping. everything will be there and will work as required by policy. We are just adding a box just like you may see Related Products box. We will have related products and along with related products, we will add one more box which will show the same products prices's with other online vendors.
