We have just re-launched our company website and decided to promote via Google Shopping.  We have two other websites selling different items and have no problems with policies etc via google merchant.  We have been sent this and our account suspended.

-- Policy violations to fix

Your Merchant Center account  is in violation of the following policies:

UNTRUSTWORTHY PROMOTIONS (MISREPRESENTATION OF SELF OR PRODUCT)

The online shopping experience offered through your website was considered unsatisfactory for Google Shopping users at this time. In determining whether a merchant or site is untrustworthy we may review information from multiple sources including your website, product listings, accounts and 3rd-party sources. Due to the sensitive nature of the review we are unable to provide further details. Finally, we encourage you to build a track record of good customer service.

We have tried to ask what the problem is so that we can fix it but we are not really getting anywhere.   We have looked into  all policies and cannot see what needs changing.  Any advice would be very much appreciated as this is becoming really frustrating.

Thanks in advance.

normally, if there is a path to being reinstated google will state the
steps to take within their policy-violation email -- unfortunately, if
there are no corrective steps in their email then, typically nothing
can be fixed and the suspension from the program is permanent.

for product-listing-ads in particular, there are rules for the supply-chain,
site, products, images, business-model, e-commerce, and landing-pages.

by default, the merchant-center-account supports, only one, single, website;
generally, the policies are to prevent similar content on multiple websites --
google is the final arbiter of similar.

forum-members can mainly offer suggestions based on the information
that is posted here within the public forum -- forum-members cannot
look directly into any submitted data, accounts, or account histories.

note that untrustworthy usually refers to the business-model, related
supply-chain, or how a business-model or product is represented --
not that the business itself was illegitimate in its dealings.

otherwise, regrettably, an account flagged with an untrustworthy-promotions
violation normally cannot be reinstated and any other related new accounts

will eventually be suspended.
