Optimize international Shopping campaigns.

Hi,

 

I am just starting to work on shopping campaign and I want to be sure that I am doing everything in right way. 

 

Is there a sense to create separate shopping campaigns for separate regions? My usual search campaign has 6 times better conversion rate compared to shopping campaign ( 3,14 % and 0,59 %). I am targeting both Australia and UK in the same shopping campaign, I have 1 ad.group with such categories as jewellery, watches etc. Maybe I should create more ad.groups and create separate campaigns for Australia and London?

within the adwords-account shopping-campaign --

using the merchant-center (data-feed) for promotional-messages is a

policy violation and grounds for disapproval or suspension, at any time.

first, the website and e-commerce must
conform to all rules and policies of the
target-country and a separate feed must
be submitted.

the same landing-page and feed cannot
be used for more than one target-country.

then, separate campaigns per target-country are usually recommended.

 

for shopping-campaigns, separate ad-groups are usually used

to add different promotional-messages, not to target a country.


google may be contacted directly to look
into the feeds and both accounts and help
verify the campaigns are set appropriately.

My ads. are already running so everything is cool with policies.
Do you think there is the sense to target specific cities? Maybe you can share some best optimization practises for shopping campaigns.

first, you're welcome.

 

a running ad is not necessarily an indicator of data-feed

or landing-page quality with respect to the rules or policies.

 

does each item have a unique id across all target-country feeds?

e.g. uk-245, au-245

is there only one, single, price and currency

displayed on the item's link landing-page?

is there a separate shopping-campaign per target-country?

has each shopping-campaign been set
up with an appropriate location setting?

has a person on the google-ads-team been contacted?

Yes, everything is correct. Support said that everything is set up correctly. I just need to organize my merchant center in a better way adding other photos and more promotions.
