Hello there,

I recently started a Google Shopping campaign, and I am worried it is not set up correctly. Under my campaign and also under my ad group Capture2.JPG(the little box that you hover over and it says view products) there are no products listed. However, if I go to the Products category,Capture.JPGmy products are listed. I have tried to make a subcategory in my product groups (really just to test if any products would show up) and no matter that attributes I used no products would come up. In my merchant center, all of my products say they are active for dynamic remarketing but pending for shopping ads-but when I click the Products category in Ad words (photo above) they are all listed there. What am I doing wrong?!? Please help!!

When submitting products you need to wait around 3 to 5 business days for your products to get reviewed. If it takes longer than 5 days, check your account for errors.

Check products > feeds > click on your feed

and check products > diagnostics> items

Resolve all errors and warnings.

When you have resolved all issues and the products are not active within 5 business days, than give Google a call.

We can not assist as we do not have access to your account, we are merely forum members helping other members.

Dynamic remarketing, is for remarketing only where shopping ads is for shopping ads. Not because the products are approved for dynamic display means you can advertise on google shopping. You need to get shopping approved.

Hope it helps.

that sounds correct.

shopping and dynamic ads are separate destinations

with separate rules, policies, and requirements.

the items under the ad-account's products-tab will show all submitted
items for the shopping-destination -- regardless of any status and
regardless of physical inventory stock availability.

however, the items under product-groups will show
only if the status is active/searchable for the
shopping-destination and the items are in stock.

google may simply take 3-5 business days or so
to crawl the site and verify the submitted data
against the website, and the website and
submitted data against all current policies,
before item-status is updated.

then, items will usually change state to either active/searchable or disapproved;
active/searchable items that are in stock will then be available for creating
product-groups, to implement a bid-strategy, and particulate in the auctions.

otherwise, google should likely be contacted directly --

forum-members cannot look into any data or accounts.

a best-practice is to review all current rules, polices, and requirements,
for shopping-ads, against all feed-data, the website, landing-pages,
business, inventory, supply-chains, etc., before submitting any data.

Thank you!! I put products on my merchant center 10/5 (4 days ago) and I just made the campaign today. I will give google a call tomorrow if there is still no change.

first, thank you for the updated information.

note that business-days do not count weekends or holidays

and the day of submission typically does not count as one

of the full days for review, depending on the details.
