No Shipping not working

Hi,

I recently added my products onto the merchant centre, however they are still dissaproved because of shipping options. I set them to no shipping but its still not accepting.

The two products we currently sell are bulky and their price includes installation by our team within certain postcodes etc. At this point we don't just ship them Australia wide but just deliver them ourselves within our installation area.

How do I set this up so the products can be approved?

for shopping-ads, valid shipping-costs for an item-offer
must be either exactly accurate or an overestimate --
or is otherwise a policy violation and grounds for a
disapproval or a suspension, at any time.

shipping may be either set in the account,
or submitted in a valid shipping attribute --
any submitted shipping will override all
shipping settings, for that item.

the no-shipping-option simply allows an item-offer to be excluded,
based on weight, or certain specific areas within a target-country;
the option does not exclude valid shipping for all remaining areas
or from the shipping policies for shopping-ads -- for the item to
be listed, at all, shipping must still be either exactly accurate or
an overestimate, or will otherwise be disapproved.

otherwise, certain types of products are simply not allowed for shopping-ads;
however, there are many other ad-formats and campaign-types that exist and
may be a better fit for advertising certain types of item-offers.

Hi Celebird, thank you for your response. So would I be correct in saying that I will need my products to be able to be shipped? I can't have no shipping on all products in the store?

Thanks

first, you're welcome.

(a) yes, that sounds correct;

(b) no-shipping may be set for all item-offers submitted;

however, no-shipping simply excludes a group of item-offers

from delivery in a shipping-service; the designation does not

exclude the item-offer from the shopping-ad shipping policies --

for example, either an exact shipping cost or an overestimate,

with respect to other areas in which the item can be delivered.

no-shipping for all items for all shipping-service areas,

in a target-country, would likely trigger a disapproval.

that said, this is mainly a peer-to-peer community forum --

google may be contacted for account-specific guidance.

google is the final arbiter of all policies.

What if my product is a Digital product?

this is a rather old thread.

all shopping-ads (still) require valid shipping information --
even if there is no cost to shipping the item-offer.

if there is no cost to shipping, then simply use
a value of 0.00 (zero), for the shipping-cost --
either set in the account, or submitted to google.

however, as was indicated, not all types of products are allowed
to be advertised using shopping-ads -- in those cases, consider
using other ad-formats and campaign-types for advertising.

generally, shopping-ads require physical-goods in the merchant's
physical stock that can be shipped to the user in a timely manner.

otherwise, google has rather strict rules and policies, for the
very narrow set of digital-goods allowed, that must be followed,
both within all submitted data and on the entire website.

a best-practice is to review all the rules and policies related to
shopping-ads, before considering advertising using shopping-ads.

note that if a type of item is seen live, as a shopping-ad,
does not necessarily indicate that the type of item is allowed --
for example, the item-offers may not have been flagged yet,
the merchant is unaware of the policies, or the merchant is
attempting to circumvent the policies.
