New display ads specification - similar ID char limit

According to new display ads attribute specification I can send up to 10 "display ads similar ids" with character limit of 50, but there is no information if character limit is per id or per whole ids set. Can anyone clarify that information?

per id.

the character-limit is per each of the 10 values allowed
and corresponds to the character-limit of the id attribute
to which each points.

however, for a tab-delimited data-feed file be certain to
either (a) use separate, duplicate-named, columns -- up to 10,
or (b) verify that no quotation-marks have been added by the
spreadsheet after re-saving, and the use-quoted-fields option
has been set appropriately for the registered data-feed, if only
only column is used.

normally, each comma separates a tab-delimited value into multiple values;
but, any quotes may cause the comma-separated values to be treated as one,
or retain a leading and trailing quote -- that will likely never match an id.

always check the .txt file within a browser
to be certain quotes have not been added,
simply by re-saving the spreadsheet --
especially for multi-valued attributes.

of course, an xml formated data-feed file usually has no such issues --

simply be certain that each value is submitted separately and accurately,

after processing, the multi-valued values should always be seen
separated (without quotes) in the merchant-center's products-tab --
after clicking on the item's title.
