Is it possible to link more than one developer account to a single merchant account? We are a mid-sized company with multiple development organizations but only a single finance organization. Thanks.

Hi there.
The only way to link multiple merchant accounts is by setting up a multi-client account.
You can apply for one here: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/188487?hl=en

"link more than one developer account "
multiple developers may issue calls to
the same merchant-center-account --
simply authorize the developers' api-key
and authenticate the service.

multi-user-access can be used to allow multiple
users to access one merchant-center account.

there is no need for a multi-client-account for the use-case
of multiple-developers -- and having a multi-client-account
does not solve the issue of multi-user access, in any way.

a merchant-center multi-client-account is for a single
entity handling multiple clients or multiple websites.

having an exact, example, use-case would likely help

us give more exact details on what is possible and

what might be the best course of action.

Ahhh, thanks for the clarification Celebird.

I assumed he meant manager not developer as there was no mention of API requests. My mistake, Apologies.

I think I need to pick your brains on MC at some stage, I've fallen quite behind in this area.

first, you're welcome.

yes, that is why having a more exact example
with a use-case would likely help with the most
appropriate course of action.

if multiple mangers are (part of) the scenario --
it would help to know exactly what the managers
would be doing and why they need access to the
merchant-center-account.

for example, if simply checking on the account's (feed) status is wanted,
often a catch-all email, as the technical-contact, is all that is needed and
a much simpler solution.

Thank you for the replies. Here is my situation: We have several apps in the Play store now. They were developed by a different team, and there are many levels of organizational hierarchy between us and them. For that reason, it will be simpler if we can create and manage our own developer accounts, SKUs, etc. However, there is a requirement for the funds from in-app billing to flow into the same merchant account. I would like to retain as much autonomy as possible while meeting that requirement.

In an ideal world, we would also be able to issue refunds for items purchased inside of our app, but I assume that would require a higher level of access to the merchant account.

Hi there.
Here's where the confusion lies.

This is the AdWords forum. What you're looking for is the Android forum. You can find it here; https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/Android-developers

They'll be able to answer your questions a little better.

I see. Thanks. The Play store documentation directed me to the google wallet documentation, and somehow I found my way here. I'll try the android forum.
