Multiple Titles for Single Product

I manage a google shopping campaign utilizing a manual feed. Due to the nature of my client's business, the titles are very important for selling his products, and there’s a lot of ways they can be worded. So we have made different titles for about 30 different products in a category.

My questions is a bit technical.

If you’re familiar with google search ads, I can make multiple text ads for 1 url or product in an ad group with no problem. Is there a way to do this in google shopping? For example, we’re using a WP site with WooCommerce, is there a way to duplicate the products on the back end, have them go to a non-indexed, custom landing page and assign multiple ads (with different titles) to those non-indexed landing pages in google shopping? Does anyone have any experience with this or know a way to get multiple titles for one product in google shopping? Any help would be appreciated.

the short answer is no.

only physical items may be submitted --

only once for each target-country.

all items submitted are made available to the auctions --

indexing, with respect to shopping-ads, does not apply.

submitting duplicate physical inventory items

is a policy violation and grounds for disapproval

or a suspension from the program, at any time --

regardless of any submitted data differences.

of course, the title of the physical inventory item

may be changed and the data-feed re-uploaded --

assuming the title does not violate any policy --

a similar experiment may be implemented on a

time-based interval, such as weekly or monthly.

a feed-rule/supplemental feed may also be used for the same purpose.

generally, the title must name the physical inventory item

and only contain information about the physical item or the

physical item's characteristics -- or may otherwise raise a

policy-flag or be removed from the auctions.

alternatively, other ad-formats and campaign-types

may be used, at the same time, to create ads for

the same physical inventory item, with different

ad-titles, that may appear with shopping-ads --

these would be part of a different set of auctions;

for example, text-ads.
