Good morning,

We are having some issues with Google Feed. There is an error related to "shipping information": Missing shipping information

The required field is the price and the price appears on the Feed. Before was appearing in Euros, but now it is in pounds. Do you know why it still appearing an error?

Thanks

The price attribute is the price of the product, more info : https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6324371?hl=en&ref_topic=6324338

The shipping price, is the posting and packaging of the item to the customer, more info : https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6324484?hl=en&ref_topic=6324338

Do not get confused with nested XML attributes, the below code

<g:shipping>
  <g:country>GB</g:country>
  <g:price>3.40 GBP</g:price>
</g:shipping>

Is read as followed :

shipping > country

shipping > price

which is not the same as the below

<g:price>3.40 GBP</g:price>

Which is read as followed :

price

Shipping information can not be in the price, this is a separate field named shipping price, More info : https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6324484?hl=en&ref_topic=6324338

You can also add shipping details in Google Merchant Center > Shipping (which is the account level setup).

Please note that if you do have shipping prices in your feed, it will overwrite the values in the account settings.

Hope it helps.

Hi Emmanuel,

Thanks for your quick reply. The actual information on the feed is as follow (I have replaced the brand and product by "x".

<item>
<g:id>1452029</g:id>
<title>X</title>
<description>X</description>
<g:google_product_category>Apparel & Accessories</g:google_product_category>
<gSmiley Tongueroduct_type>Stole</gSmiley Tongueroduct_type>
<g:additional_image_link/>
<g:condition>new</g:condition>
<g:availability>in stock</g:availability>
<gSmiley Tonguerice>56.95 GBP</gSmiley Tonguerice>
<g:sale_price/>
<g:sale_price_effective_date/>
<g:brand>Avoca</g:brand>
<g:gtin>5397028761118</g:gtin>
<g:mpn>GRACOLG</g:mpn>
<g:identifier_exists>TRUE</g:identifier_exists>
<g:multipack/>
<g:gender>female</g:gender>
<g:age_group/>
<g:color>Green</g:color>
<g:material/>
<gSmiley Tongueattern/>
<g:item_group_id>296513</g:item_group_id>
<g:shipping>
<g:country>GB</g:country>
<g:region/>
<g:service/>
<gSmiley Tonguerice></gSmiley Tonguerice>
</g:shipping>
<g:shipping_weight>0 lbs</g:shipping_weight>
<g:adult>FALSE</g:adult>
<g:adwords_grouping/>
<g:adwords_labels/>
<g:adwords_redirect/>
<g:unit_pricing_measure/>
<g:unit_pricing_base_measure/>
<g:energy_efficiency_class/>
<g:excluded_destination/>
<g:expiration_date/>
</item>

I guess that after seeing the page you gave me the right settings are:

<shipping>

  <price currency="USD">2.3</price>

  <country>US</country>

  <region>TX</region>

  <service>by car</service>

</shipping>

<shipping>

  <price currency="USD">3.4</price>

  <country>US</country>

  <region>CA</region>

  <service>by bike</service>

</shipping>

So if we have the <price><price> and the <price currency="USD">3.4</price>, is going to cause inconsistencies?

Do not mix XML and XML API, which are completely different feeds.

You need to use the following (the normal XML feed example)

<g:shipping>
  <g:country>GB</g:country>
  <g:price>3.40 GBP</g:price>
</g:shipping>

Hi again,

So we can keep also the field with the price outside the shipping?

<gSmiley Tonguerice>56.95 GBP</price>
<g:sale_price/>
