Hello good people

I'm seeing a number of items which are missing micro data for condition.

One of the items in question is:

https://www.gigantictoybox.co.uk/board-games/pokemon-johto-edition-monopoly-game/

I have been using this link to test if the landing page was correct and I thought it was.

https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool

I guess I must be missing something, I was wondering if someone could help me please?

Thanks

First, go to the Diagnostics tab, then click on the download icon to download a report on the items that are missing condition microdata. (It is under product section of the merchant centre)

You will get an excel file. When you open the excel file, you can see some column are filled with "Missing microdata for condition"

Review your items' landing pages and make sure they contain microdata for the condition.

After Google verified that your microdata contains condition information, the notification in the Diagnostics tab will be removed. This may take up to several weeks.

@Sunil27 Hi there

Thanks for responding

Im a little confused, I thought missing microdata condition was refering to the condition of the items we are advertising and whether they were new, used or otherwise.

Since the client only sells new items I believe we took care of that.

Am I incorrect in my thinking?

I edited my previous reply and some steps to suit your condition. I believe now the above reply will help.

@Sunil27

I've done this, what makes me think there is still a problem is the developer made the change to include item condition about 10 days ago.

I can see from the report that a few items have been tested in the past 5 days and they are still showing as missing microdata for condition.

Here is another example:

https://www.gigantictoybox.co.uk/board-games/legend-zelda-cluedo-game/

This item was tested yesterday and is still showing the same thing

What is the title of the column?

See the title of column and location the field/item in your page and then compare it with your current schema data with structure snippet tool.

If you found the item/field in the schema, then it is ok and it can take up to weeks for the error to go away.

After Google verified that your microdata contains condition information, the notification in the Diagnostics tab will be removed. This may take up to several weeks.

If you do not find that item/field in your schema then you need to add data for that field/item in your schema.

Title of the column: First cell of the excel sheet column in which you are getting the error.

Like for me, I am getting the error in column E and the first cell says "issue title". What your column says the error is for which thing?

I find one thread may be reading this will also help you:

Ive checked the link you provided and when I look at the page source for one of the items in question I see the following: Does this look correct to you?

<meta itemprop="itemCondition" itemtype="http://schema.org/OfferItemCondition" content="http://schema.org/NewCondition" />
