Missing images with valid image URL's (no redirecting) and no feed issues.

I recently updated the "Title" field in my feed (manually uploading XML file) to include key attributes.  Other than a previous issue on Google's end that has been resolved, we have never had issues with our PLA's or display ads.  For at least the last 7 days though we have missing images (>15% of my 192 product feed) and it is having a material impact on the business (plus the missing image icon in the displays makes the situation even worse).  I have gone through the feed and all the image URL's are valid, not redirecting and the images are the same images that Google has never had an issue showing before.

I do not even know where to begin to fix this problem as I do not see there being an issue on my end.  Anyone have any ideas?  Thanks in advance!

google is constantly updating their systems to better check existing items
and does not always check all items at all times -- so nothing needs to
change to uncover an issue that never showed before and making any
change can trigger a re-review of an item, image, website, or business.

a best-practice is to inspect all items and images against all current policies.

generally, missing-images may surface if the website cannot keep pace with all
google's crawl requests, usually due to the images being too large, or the site
was not responding properly at the time google issued a re-review/re-crawl, or
images violate policies in some way that went previously undetected -- such as,
having watermarks or text, large borders, more than one product on a page, not
having a solid white, gray, or light enough background, not clearly showing the
exact item being sold, any images with copyright or permission related issues,

a color or pattern variant that did not exactly match the variant being submitted

and shown on the link landing-page or was missing an identical item_group_id

for all variants in a variant-group, etc.

note that any additional_image_link images must also

follow all related policies and may also trigger an issue.

sometimes, simply resubmitting the data, triggering a re-crawl,
and waiting 72-hours without submitting any data whatsoever,

may help; otherwise, changing an item's images, other details,

image-url's, and the link or any mobile_link landing-page details,

may also be required.

however, forum-members can mainly offer suggestions based on
the information posted here in the public forum -- posting an exact
feed entry, including image_link and all additional_image_link values,
of an exact item being submitted and flagged, and a screen-capture
of an exact message from the merchant-center, can sometimes help.

otherwise, forum-members cannot look into any accounts --
but google may be contacted directly so that a person can
look directly into the account, submitted-data, and website:

Thanks for your response.  According to Google Support this is a Google technical issue and they are opening a ticket for an engineer.  After spending a fair amount of time on hold while they researched the issue, she came back on and said there are 3 similar cases and that she and folks around her are being asked about so they are opening a ticket.
