Merchant Feed Google Drive, Automatic Update from Website

I'm not able to get it to work, and there isn't any error message or anything. Here is what it says when I click on update.

Last update: Oct 3, 2017, 2:03:40 PM
Update successful: 0 / 0 updated

I'm using Google Drive, with the same Google account as my Merchant Center Account. I have the Google Merchant Center sidebar Add-On installed.

I used Webmaster Tools to add schema markup for the name, image, and price of our eCommerce store. I have the domain correctly entered into Merchant Center.

Using Webmaster Tool's data highlighter product attribute, I cannot add:

- description, even though it is on the page.

- link, not sure if the plugin can pull in the URL automatically

Merchant Feed Google Drive, Automatic Update from Website

automatic-item-updates and the (google-drive)
feed-file (scheduled) submit/upload are two,

entirely separate, features and issues.

for the google-drive issue, first, be certain that the google-account
being used is not a google-g-suite (google-apps) account; if a g-suite
account is being used, contact the g-suite-administrator or google.

then, be certain the permissions allow anyone with the link to view the file.

otherwise, 0/0 updated usually means that the file being submitted is not
in an officially supported format -- .txt tab-delimited, .xml google-xml,
or google-sheet -- or the file/spreadsheet has some technical issue.

structured-data/schema-markup relates only to the automatic-item-updates feature
which is simply a stop-gap, for minor, on-page or physical inventory changes, that
may occur before the regular (google-drive) data-feed file is properly updated and

submitted -- the feature is not, in any way, a substitute for the regular, scheduled,

required, updates and re-uploads/re-submits of the primary registered feed.

google requires that all inventory (primary registered feed) data
be re-submitted at least monthly -- or immediately after any critical

change to the website/landing-page or on-hand physical inventory,

in stock, status occurs -- otherwise, structured-data can be updated

as a stop-gap before the file/sheet can be changed and re-uploaded.

the schema must be both syntactically correct
and meet all the google-shopping/shopping-ads,
rules and policies for automatic-item-updates --
automatic-item-updates is an optional feature
and may be disabled.

otherwise, this is mainly a peer-to-peer forum -- forum-members cannot
look into any accounts or submitted data -- forum-members can mainly
offer suggestions based on the details posted here in the public forum;
posting the specific url link to the feed file/sheet on google-drive,
and a specific url link to a product's website link landing-page, may
allow other forum-members to offer more specific suggestions.

otherwise, the best likely course would be to contact google.
