Merchant Center - Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again.

Getting the error "Oops!  Something went wrong.  Please try again." persistently when I try to access my feed to upload a new file Product>Feeds>(my feed).

I thought maybe by chance there was a problem with my last upload so I created a new feed and upon trying to access that one I've got the same error.  My PLA's are still working fine.  I just can't update the feed.  Never had an issue like this.

Wondering if anyone else is having the same problems and if so is there any page I can bookmark to keep up with any platform issues with Merchant Center?  Not really sure what to do now...

(1) be certain the feed (file) has not exceed 200mb for direct-uploads.

otherwise, oops errors are almost always internal google issues --
the normal process is to wait a few hours or days and try again,
until the issue no longer occurs.

or, notify google directly so that they are aware of the details:
https://support.google.com/merchants/contactflow

(2) a live product feed cannot be used for testing --
any and all data uploaded via a registered live-feed
can and will be used for live shopping-ads.

a test-feed may be used, and may sometimes be useful, for testing such issues.

normally, never, ever, delete the live registered feed unless someone at google
indicates to do so -- using live feeds for testing can trigger policy flags and
complex issues that may take a lot of time, testing, and  effort, to resolve;
register only one feed once and use the same registered feed for all updates --
including changes, additions, deletions, or simply re-uploads; any missing items
from the feed are considered a delete; all inventory items are tracked by id.

(3) currently, there is no such real-time issues-list for the merchant-center.

It was something internal.  I checked back again after an hour and the problem was resolved.  Having never experienced an issue such as this with Merchant Center I wanted to see if there were ways of finding out about issues real time but you answered that question clearly.

I contacted support but somehow wound up in the wrong place so that was a dead end.  Thank you for the tip on testing with live feeds.  I was not aware of that.  I'll keep that in mind going forward.
