Magento + Google Shopping (/w bluevisiontec/GoogleShoppingApi)

Hello,

I am currently trying to export our products which are in the e-commerce software "Magento" via the magenot module bluevisiontec/GoogleShoppingAPI.

Note: This does not work with feeds to my understanding.

In my Magento Backend I am able to synchronize a product (for testing purpose) to my Google Merchant account, however I want to target Germany only as for now but am only able to see "United States" in my Google Merchant account under "Products". The Magento module says it has synchronized the product successfully.

How can I change the product listing in my Google Merchant account from "United States" to say "Germany" (because thats where I want to export my data to).

Thanks!

there are two ways a new target-country gets added to the merchant-center:
(1) directly via feed registration;
(2) indirectly via an api insert with a targetCountry parameter (attribute);

the inserted target-country data will be immediately available via the api.

however, the merchant-center-account may take 72-hours or
so to update; especially with respect to a new target-country
if the api is being used.

first, check the api-diagnostics-tab for any items, then the products-tab;
then, the diagnostics-tab is updated after a crawl of the site -- typically
72-hours or so after the data is seen within the merchant-center-account.

after the merchant-center-account has been updated then,
if multiple target-county data has been submitted, there
will be a country-menu automatically added, usually near

a right or left hand corner, under the appropriate tabs of

the merchant-center -- dashboard, diagnostics, products.

as an aside, for the products-tab specifically, if the api-diagnostics
tab shows inserted data then, a temporary workaround for the update
delay, is to simply add an appropriate target-country .iso designation
to the end of the url, by hand; e.g.
https://merchants.google.com/Home?#items.dashboard.GB
https://merchants.google.com/Home?#items.dashboard.DE
https://merchants.google.com/Home?#items.dashboard.AU

otherwise, the best likely course is to first contact whoever
is supporting the magento-module or version of magento
being used, to verify the api-insert is happening correctly.

otherwise, google may be contacted directly.

Hi Pascal,

I understand the country is set incorrectly for products in your Google Merchant Center. However, the countries were specified during the registration of the feed.

Unfortunately, we do not have access to such details therefore you are advised to directly contact a support-specialist at Google who can look into the feed, your Google Merchant account and the data details that you submitted.

Hello Celebird,

it was indeed the incorrect targetCountry parameter.
Also the product is now visible in my Google Merchant Account.

Thanks!
