Logo Rejected: reason unspecified. The rejection notification said "
You can view the specific reason for the disapproval and to upload a new logo that meets our requirements on the Logo page in the Business information section of your account at https://merchants.google.com/mc/imagesettings?a=***********". But you can in fact not view the specific reason there! 

 

Does Google use standards that apply evenly? Equally? How can I even pose a question to google? All I find are canned questions with no way of actually getting answers that aren't  relevant.

currently, logos added in the merchant-center are only used for
google-express, google-local-inventory-ads, and showcase-ads --
if none of those google-programs are being used, a logo is not
required and may simply be removed.

otherwise, yes, the usual method to fix the issue is to carefully
inspect the submitted logo against all current rules and policies

and then resubmit a corrected logo.

for example: a logo must follow all google's merchant-center policies,
without any copyright, trademark, or similar violations or restrictions,
a logo must be png or svg, a ratio of exactly 1:1 or 2:1, less than 5mb,
500x500 or 1000x500 pixels, with transparent white-space, a logo must

be unique without reliance on any alpha-channels for display, without

any illegible text when resized, without watermarks, and must match

any related branding on the website.

initial logo rejection or acceptance is usually automated --
so is necessarily applied evenly and equally; otherwise,
a manual-review may be given priority for programs that
require a logo -- such as google express, local-inventory,
or showcase ads.

this is mainly a peer-to-peer public forum -- posting a public url link,
to the specific logo file being uploaded, and the claimed website url,

may allow other forum-members to offer more specific suggestions.

help/contact details, within the merchant-center-account, or:

feedback about google's current process, and lack of a specific reason for the
