Invalid Microdata for price and availability

Hi All: I'm getting the "missing microdata for condition" error on my product feed pages. These are products (shoes) where there's a single shoe on each page with 10 or more sizes (SKUs/UPCs) for each shoe. The sizes are listed in a dropdown, and they all have the same price.

After googling for a bit, it seemed like I must add schema.org microdata for each sku/upc on the page. That's not a problem, but I end up with a lot of extraneous text on the page from all the generated HTML (see bottom left).

The only reason I'm embedding this text is Merchant Feed is complaining about it...but do I actually need it for my Shopping campaign? Is there any way to not display it or hide it? It's not adding any information to the page that isn't already there.

the microdata schema.org checks may be stopped by

disabling the associated optional feature, within the

merchant-center under settings, automatic-item-updates.

as an aside, be certain all product variant groups are
being submitted with proper identical item_group_id
values and proper unique variant-attribute values --
size, color, material, pattern -- to avoid a disapproval,
regardless of any microdata issues.
