Invalid Image Error Remains Even After Images Have Been Updated

I am getting the following error under the Diagnostic Tab of my Google Merchant account - "Invalid Images". 

 

I added the images about 2 weeks ago but the error has not gone away. Because of this I have about 500 products that are Disapproved.

 

I have tested it, and when I click the Image URL for each disapproved product it does take me the image.

How can I get Google to update this and re-approve my products?

variant items must be submitted with identical item_group_id
values and at least one variant attribute value that is unique
for all items within the variant-group -- the image must match

the variant -- with respect to both the variant shown on the

link landing-page and the variant submitted; especially with

respect to the color and pattern attributes.

images for apparel accessory products must be at least 250x250 pixels
with a plain border between 10% and 25% of the entire image submitted.

images should be small enough so that the web-server can respond
properly and fast enough during all google's crawl requests and large
enough to meet google's image policies.

typically, around 300x300 pixels or so with a rather small border is best.

for example, try this image instead:
http://elementoutfitters.com/v/vspfiles/photos/SANSWS10535-2.jpg
otherwise, try the above image with a smaller, more uniform, border.

then, resubmit the item and wait 72-hours or so for a google re-crawl.

Thanks so much for the advice. I updated the images last week and have waited. It has been well over 72 hrs now. How do I contact a a merchant-center product-listing-ads
support-specialist at google?

@Marie S Have you checked your Robots.txt file and search console to make sure the images are accessible by Google's crawlers? Those are the types of issues that won't be discernible when you click the image but can keep Google from seeing them.

 

Also, it could be that everything is fine and that the automation is just stuck. I've had this issue with other clients before, sometimes Google won't recrawl the images at all automatically, it's a but in their automation. You have to call support and have them request an immediate recrawl if that's the case. Make sure that your robots.txt is in order first, but after that getting support to do a manual recrawl would be the next step. 866-246-6453 is the support number for the US.
